Janji Melayu

Demi Masa.

That is a humiliation and what we’re doing? We’re joking about it… Yes, berjenaka tentang kebodohan diri sendiri…

FYI aku seorang yang selalunya akan tepati masa dan aku sangat meluat bila term tu ko campak kat aku bila ko lambat atau tak menampakkan batang idung langsung… Hey, c’mon mcm mane bangsa kita nak maju…time management pon da hancus tak payah cakap la mende2 lain yg lagi kompleks tuh…

Mane tah datang term yang tak semena-mena jadi satu istilah baru dalam perbendaharaan kata orang Melayu ni. Aku tak fikir ini dimulakan dek bangsa-bangsa lain Cina, India mahupun bangsa-bangsa bersatu tapi istilah ni datangnya dari kita sendiri untuk describe dan mengiakan keburukan diri sendiri.

Bahasa lembutnye “bagai membuka pekung di dada”. Ye sekarang semua orang tau buruknye perangai bangsa kita. Semua orang dah tau susahnya orang kita nak tepati janji, susah nak menepati masa.

Yerp, it’s a cliche bila korang lambat siket maka akan terpacullah kata-kata “biasalah, janji Melayu”… janji kol 10 awal-awal pon 10.15 baru nampak.

Aku ade banyak experince working with non-Muslims buat project, experiments, assignments and all that dan aku tak hadapi masalah langsung in terms of nak menepati masa. Janji kol 8 malam exactly 8 mlm aku dtg diorg dah ready…

Camne kita nak expect diorang boleh jatuh cinta dengan Islam kalo kita  sendiri keep on showing all this bad attitude.

Aku tak ingat la ni kata-kata sape, Yusuf Islam kot…correct me if i’m wrong.

Tak faham? cube bace baik-baik kalo tak paham gak sila tanya saya..

Akhir kata dari saya, ubah la perangai tu wahai Melayu yg majoritinya Islam. Tak harus wujud term “janji Melayu” ni. Kalo nak kekalkan pon it’s okay, tapi biarlah bila orang dengar istilah janji Melayu orang akan fikir, ooo …mereka sangat menepati masa, menepati janji! always show up EARLY!!

p/s: Ini nasihat untuk diri sendiri, tiada niat nak mengkritik sesiapa…

Small

Though it sounds cliche, feel like its been a long time since i force my brain to work for a new post. Actually nothing interesting happening to me this week aside from all those, again a cliche…test, assignment, project thing, bla, bla, bla…

earth hour

Huhh, no need for me to membebel much regarding Earth Hour 2009 that is happening tonight 8.30 pm. You can read it everywhere, everybody’s posting something bout this Earth Hour thingy… It’s up to you, if you feel you’re part of it then just do it. If you keep on asking, “Hey, what’s this small act can contribute?” then again it’s up to you…

Think about it again people tend to turn their attention towards something big but fail to notice the importance of something small call effort… Effort doesn’t need to be big but it is still something…

When I voice out my opinion supporting a Boycott campaign, people start questioning “Berapa sen sangat la sumbangan ko tu…?”

When your hand want to put something on a donation box, Mr. Syaitannirrajim mula berbisik “Elehh, sikit macam tu tak yah derma x pe, baik buat duit makan tengah hari ko”…

My friend, Allah does not judge on how big your contribution is, but your sincerity… so let it be small but benificial.

Remember this concept “E&E”… It’s effect and effort…The later one is much more important. How much you work for something(effort), not how the end product will look like(effect). We human can only put our best effort, but in the end, it is Allah to decide whether it’ll be successful or not…

00_small_vs_big

Don’t afraid of being small, never hesitate to work on something small, and don’t ever ignore something small because, it is something…and can be proved to be really something…

So, let us start putting our best in everything we do. Stop moaning, stop questioning regarding this Big and Small matters… It won’t solve a thing but this small thing can…EFFORT

p/s: Hey, penamaan calon Parliment Bukit Gantang it’s today isn’t it? Good luck  to Mr. Nizar for this upcoming election…. wait, do i sound obvious? lol…who cares? freedom of speech!

p/p/s: Why do i love to write on Saturday morning… Adakah aku seorang yg tiada life? Ya, betul…

Aku Cinta Bahasa Melayu

Mereka bukan yang membuat keputusan, mereka cuma terima arahan dari orang atasan yang tak sedar diri…you know who you are..

Senang citer media arus perdana memang sangat bias, aku ulang, sangaatt bias!!…pernah ke ko tengok any slot kat TV involves orang daripada opposition…sikit? not at all?..ohoho aku tak berpihak mana-mana cuma melihat dari perspektif neutral…ko tak perlu sebelahi mana-mana side utk melihak ke’bias’an ini…sangat obvious!!

Okay back to those statistics…hanya kurang daripada 40% pelajar sahaja yang menjawab dengan bahasa Inggeris.

20080521-toilet-signs10

One fine day, near a fine looking toilet which is about to unveil it’s true identity…(of being heavenly rich, full of dripping piss, bad graffitis all around).

There’s a man(me) whose desperately searching for a “place”…a place to pour all the pain that hold inside for a long time looking for the right “place” wher all the shit belongs…but he didn’t know that he’s about to get pissed…

Adegan standard di sebuah tandas di Mongolia…

case 1
Ahhh!! busuk gilerr!!…Sisa pepejal bertaburan di sekitar tandas…Berak pastu tak flush..your shit is flooding the hole you know…tak sekolah tadika betul…you’re spoiling my mood nak melepas la…don’t you know that those ugly shit is giving a “good” fragrance to the toilet…next time…Flush..It’s not that hard!! Just pull the damn string you moron!! Ohh..aku tau kau seorang yg berjimat cermat, but wrong time, wrong place man. One flush requires more than a pile of water i know, but there’s always a price to pay for something good…

case 2
Kencing x tutup pintu…wehh tak malu ker?? It looks ugly If you’re non-Muslim what more if you’re Muslims…Tak belajar ke adab dalam perlaburan…Nak melepas kene dekat tempat tertutup yang orang tak nampak, common sense…stoop-to-the-pid betul…Next time buat je tandas tu x de pintu senang sket…ade pintu pon orang tak reti gune watpe…membazir jer..

tu satu, ade plak lg satu ni tutup, tutup dah…tapi tak kunci…pastu bile aku terbukak pintu tandas tu mula la melatah..OIII!!, pastu terpancut la merata-rata sbb menggelabah…kotor siot…

case 3
Muslim tapi guna toilet berdiri yang open air tuh…for non-Muslim let them be… kita yang Muslim ni kan Rasulullah dah ajar nak buang air kecik ada caranya, nak buang air besar ada caranya…itu pon dikira pahala sunnat kalu kene caranya…yang kau berdiri terkangkang camtuh ko ikut sunnah sape? dah la nampak terjelir je alat sulit ko tu….Ahhhrrgghh!! Damn

case 4
Conteng toilet…gambar2 x senonoh, advertisement for service, etc…”sex service call 01*-*******”…fuck off!! hey this is so not the place man…Kelas pendidikan seni tak dapat A pon…tapi kat toilet bukan main berseni ko eh?? memang dasar karyawan tandas!!

Ada gak yg terlebih pandai…

A:”Jangan conteng tandas”
B:”Abis tu ape yg ko buat ni?”
A:”Aku bagi peringatan je”
C:”Nasib baik aku tak conteng”

…and so the stupidity continues….all those setan and the crewzz tergelak guling-guling kat tandas tu tengok kebodohan segelintir manusia…

Akhir kata dari saya..Cintailah tandas kita, mari jaga kebersihan tandas…sian aku tengok kat makcik cleaner tu…yes indeed it’s their job tapi tak malu ke berak orang len basuh? Sendiri buat sendiri tanggung la woi!! kalo kite meringankan keje diorang bukan ke kita dah tolong diorang = amal jariah… Allah tak lihat besarnya amalan kita buat….what matters is keikhlasan, ur’ sincerity…

Counter Strike vs Dota

This is not a Game review..

counterstrike

Counter strike is a first person shooter kind of thing where it has a feeling that you’re the one being the character inside the game.

dota

On the other hand, Dota (Warcraft) is a strategy game where you’re controlling the character from above. See the difference?

Okay it’s not about the game I’m trying to point out. It’s the character of person whose playing it. From my observation throughout the “Teja ” (it’s  a Game tournament at my campus), there a huge contrast between those who’s playing Counter Strike and Dota. The most obvious one is, Malay is playing Counter Strike and Chinese playing Dota.

So what’s the inference can be drawn from these phenomenon? Malay loves to be the one who execute the plan whereas Chinese love to take control, do the planning kind of thing. Don’t believe me?? Up to you cuz again it’s just my thought..

It wasn’t my intention to judge anyone. It is just a typical me who love to came out with conclusion though it always turn out to be totally wrong. But let’s face it, this time around, i think i got it right Malay don’t like to take charge. They will be satisfied with just being a sidekick unlike Chinese, they loves to be the mastermind.

Okay this is not true for every single Malay for some of us loves to take charge (Politikus bodoh, MPP as****si). Fill in the asterisk yourself, you knew it.

So, from game, you can interpret the character of one person (don’t judge a book by its cover not apply here…). Next time watch out what you’re playing, there might be someone like me around observing. Happy Gaming and Have a Good Weekend…

Malaysian Education System

school_sucks

Learning suppose to be fun. But, I find it almost impossible to feel that way. I’ve been struggling started from primary school, secondary school and up until now to find something that will attract my interest towards learning.  But i find it very difficult. School is a lot of fun, except from the academic point of view.

Lets talk about Malaysian Education System. Before that, I’ll like state that this entry doesn’t meant of criticizing or condemning the system, it’s just a sharing of what I’ve been through for the past 6+5+1+4 years of so called “Malaysian Education System”.

Okay here it goes…

Firstly we are exposed to too much theoretical lessons instead of practical one. It is good to know everything but that doesn’t mean you need to learn everything. It is better if a student were channeled to the area he/she’s having most interest in instead of learning the whole thing only to be washed away in the end of the day (when the exam’s over).

Exam oriented. Yes, exam is important to evaluate the level of understanding/achievements of one particular student. But having an exam has detour the student goal of learning towards it, instead of it supposedly main objective of understanding the damn thing.

This will also prepares the student with an unwanted “soft skills” of plagiarism or more famously called toyol…Understanding in the class is not important anymore. What’s more important is how you prepare yourself for the final exam. So “now…everybody can score…” This is really against the actual concept of learning. So, I’m really against it.

Experiment. It is not done to foster the level of understanding. It’s because its compulsory, it is a requirement for certain subject. In the end of the lab session you will need to submit a report based on your “own” understanding of the experiment “you” have carried out. What happen most of the time?? Most of the students already have the copy of report of their senior from the previous year which is actually copied by their senior from the previous senior… see, it keeps on going if you didn’t stop it…

Malu @ respect? Here’s a frequently occurring scenario:

Lecturer: Any question up to this point?

Students: Nooo…

It’s either they totally understand the whole damn thing or they want to leave early but the latter one is more appropriate. Maybe we’re being too nice. “Don’t want to trouble this old man“…

p/s: I’ll be graduating very soon…to those having another few years to endure…tough luck!..lol

Telcomunication War!!

I’m reading Cik F‘s blog and she gives me idea to blog…

Currently, there’s just 4 main providers in Malaysia namely Celcom, Maxis, Digi and U-Mobile but yet the competition among them is very, very stiff. All of them trying hard to win the customers attention.

Who’s the party with the most benefits?? Surely, it just got to be us users. Currently I’m relishing this war by enjoying the lowest rates ever the Teleco has to offer. I still remember during an early days when everyone’s really shy to use their phone because of a very high call/sms charges. 20 cents per sms?? Maybe up to RM1per min for a call??….and look at it now 1 cents per sms…Whoaa, that was real cheap and I really didn’t know if they can go any lower than that.

I’m using a Celcom U-pax with a few Ringgit of credit hours and like 4 years? of validity…Yes you’ve heard it right, 4 years..I’m surprise at first you know…When I check my ballance at that time..”RMXXX, valid until 13/11/2012,tariff plan U.O.X”…first thing on my mind, Celcom are going nuts…But hey it’s reallity…Celcom Blue offers you a 2 years of validity…

Another interesting fact about this war is in terms of advertising…I never ever see any other product did their promotion like the telecom. providers do…They keep on renewing their adverts like mothly basis, some weekly making it look real fresh and creative…I really loves their promo, most of them…But the problem with the ever changing promotion is that sometimes you’re lost…you didn’t even know how mush you need to pay for your usage cuz the rates keep on changing…But it’s okay for me cuz the rates is in a decreasing trend…

Now the competition has started becoming more and more complicated, confusing. You can change your Telcom. provider without changing the number??I’m going back last weekend and only then I can watch TV of course. There’s a few commercial….”017 are now Celcom” and then 012, 016, 018 and I’m started thinking what’s wrong with other’s…Going bankrupt or something?? Until I saw Digi’s adverts. “Bertukarlah ke Digi…Tapi saya tak nak hilang nombor saya..”

The problem is there’s no more identity for any specific brand…Maybe before, you knew 013 and 019 is Celcom’s own but now you never knew, it might be Digi or Maxis. Isn’t that enough confusing. Imagine you’re SMSing your friends thinking they’re using the same provider as you…Then you got shocked by the rates…”hey isn’t it suppost to be XX cent??” You never knew they have change…isn’t that a problem??

So, the conclusion is lets all move to Celcom…hehe

ps: Celcom should gives me some credit for this..

pss: love watching the Yellow man of DIGI..
